Sussex Bank, a full-service regional NJ-based bank that operates regionally with eleven branch locations in New Jersey and New York, acquired Community Bank of Bergen County, with three branches of their own. Their newly found entity consisting of fourteen branches was renamed SB One Bank. We were brought in by strategic marketing partner ondemandCMO —Sussex Bank’s retained marketing agency, and content lead on the rebranding process to create the graphic identity and all branding efforts based off the brand name they developed—in all mediums.
GreyBox developed a unique mark using the brand initials, which is bold and progressive symbolizing the relationship between the bank and its customers, working as one. Paired with a bold serif typeface which share subtle characteristics, the logo retains a strong and unique personality that represents a modern and professional personality for the SB One brand. The minimal color palette of bold blues paired with black and tones of grey conveys a sense of authority, trust and professionalism for their brand moving forward.
GreyBox developed the identity system and additional brand assets to allow SB One to express its voice in a coherent manner across multiple platforms including announcement ads, brochures, interior signage and display ads, debit card, photography library, and identity brand guidelines to be used moving forward.
