Intelligent 401k is an A.I.-driven retirement plan optimizer. The firms founders saw that retirement funds are not well serviced by the financial industry, since banks and financial advisors cannot collect commissions or fees from them. They sought to create this service to help Americans optimize their retirement funds, save on fees and obtain better long-term returns.



GreyBox worked together with Tronvig Group, who lead the strategy work which included the Discovery Workshop and Qualitative Research. GreyBox designed and developed a fully responsive, ADA compliant website to market the product as well as the design of the user interface for the platform which consisted of the questionnaire and user sign up features. Based off the strategy work the design and overall visual communications were geared towards a target audience of “Motivated Delegators” between the ages of 32 and 45 years old.

Working with the design criteria established by the upfront strategic work, GreyBox applied the brand elements throughout each aspect of the site and questionnaire for a comprehensive brand experience. The overall look and feel balances the characteristics rooted in the Core Values of Intelligent 401k; smart, confident and useful. The 401k plan optimizer is easy to use, responds proactively to market changes and is personalized to meet the needs and goals of its individuals.
