United States Army

The Department of the Army hosts a race in Washington DC each year known as the Army Ten-Miler. The race draws a large number of civilian and military runners.

Overview

The Army Ten-Miler is the second largest ten-mile race in the United States. It is held every October in Washington, DC, sponsored by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, with proceeds going to support Soldier and Soldier Family programs. To commemorate the 30th Anniversary, the U.S. Army commissioned GreyBox Creative to design a logo to be used for promotion of the event and for use on a variety of materials.
Alternative concept designs presented
In addition to the logo design, GreyBox designed a T-Shirt for the event.
